one day i went to Sharjah , I took some pictures up from some towers trying to have a general view of sharjah and Khaled Lake , I took these pictures for Hafsah ( Fatat Iraq).
I went up to tower which was 25 floors , i went to the roof and ;) ..lol

I have a biased (unfairly, I suppose) reaction toward Sharjah. Looking at your photos one gets the impression of a big city--a major urban center. But I always think of Sharjah as being a provincial and, dare I say, backwater bedroom-town cum industrial sesspool. I know it's more than that, but there are those areas of Sharjah that are full of car garages, warehouses and the like and for some reason that is the Sharjah that I most often find myself in, and the live in Sharjah, work in Dubai meaga-phenomenon cannot be denied by anyone.

This gives me a different perspective on Sharjah,,,, I alsways think of the industrials area and the Blue mosque only..
